Weekly Lesson Structure
A clear 3-hour lesson with teaching, practice and review.
1 hour
Reading and Vocabulary
Students practise comprehension, inference, vocabulary and careful reading across different text types. The focus is on understanding the question, finding evidence in the text and choosing the best answer.
1 hour
Mathematical Reasoning
Students work through multi-step maths questions that test number skills, patterns, problem solving and logical thinking. We teach students how to set out working clearly and solve questions without relying on a calculator.
